Essence

Write.  Reduce.  Demi-glace.

For this weekend’s prompt , we're asking for you to sum up your own process with just three little words.  Give us dry wit, pathos or otherwise.  And remember, we like your blood on the page.  Put it there.

  1. Reduce, what a really lovely word to use to fit into those prompt limits right?

I loved this, a little Demi-glace is perfect at the end. Plus the presentation was nice, subtle.

(the blue shoes in the MY ETSY SHOP are they yours? they are FABULOUS!!!!!)

  2. Thanks Kir! What a lovely comment! And yes, they are my shoes but I don't wear them other than for photo props-they have a 4" heel and if I wore them I'd be a menace (aka dangerous hurtling object) to myself and others;)

  3. I love it! This is similar to my process for taking photos. I take a million of them so a few will turn out ok, but then I edit and whittle them down to just a few :)

  5. Now, for the meatier response. Too bad your finger is throbbing esp since others can't comfort you. You are brave to type. Are you doing the hunt and peck method to preserve your chance of further injury.

Thank you for your thoughtful and fun comment. I love your depth and meaning. Sometime one liners are flat and boring. Yours, however, are full of expression, goodness and care! thank ya.

    1. Me too. I tend to write sparingly anyway, and I don't like superfluous words. It's hard to decide sometimes:)

      Directions:
Take one measure of "word stock" and just add water (or more words) ;)
